Technology for safe unexploded ordnance disposal based on the ammunition fuze removal.
Rigid asnd easy to trasport machine used for save unexploded ordnance disposal. The proces is based on the ammunition fuze removal. The gripping coincidental rotational movement of the spindle together with the linear movement of mounting system ensures trouble free dismounting and removing fuzes or eject fuzes from the ammunition body.
The ammunition is clamped by the mounting system to the corect possition, the process is controlled by two perpendicular lasers. The fuze is then gently clamped to the spindle head by the interchangeable gripper jaws.
The course of the process operator monitors a camera system where one camera captures detail jaw and the second captures the general.
The devise is succesfully used by the Czech army. Several units were successfully verified during the liquidation of ammunition depots in Vrbětice in the Czech Republic. In total hundreds of pieces of ammunition were safely disposed of.
